Account & Billing
Yes. Every Grant Lens account is completely private and isolated. Your funder pipeline, org profile, and notes are visible only to you — no other user can see your data. If multiple staff members at your organization want to use Grant Lens, each person creates their own account.
Grant Lens is $49/month, billed monthly with no annual contract required. You can cancel at any time. We also offer a 7-day free trial — no credit card required to start. See our pricing page for a full feature breakdown.
Email us at hello@grant-lens.com and we'll cancel your account immediately. You'll retain access through the end of your current billing period. We don't do retention tactics — if you want out, you're out.
We built Grant Lens at $49/month specifically because existing tools are out of reach for small nonprofits. If your organization is genuinely unable to afford that, email us at hello@grant-lens.com and we'll work something out.
On the sign-in page, enter your email address and click Forgot password? We'll send a reset link to your inbox. The link expires after 1 hour. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.
Data & Privacy
Yes. Your data is stored in a secure database with row-level security — meaning it is technically impossible for another user to query your data, even if they tried. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Before cancelling, use the Export JSON button in the tracker to download a copy of your funder pipeline. After account deletion, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Yes. Your funder data and org profile are stored in your account, not just your browser. Sign in on any device and your pipeline is there.
When you use AI features (research briefs, grant discovery, Grant Buddy), your org profile and funder details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle that data. We do not send your email address or billing information to Anthropic.
Using Grant Lens
Grant Lens works for any organization seeking grant funding — 501(c)(3) nonprofits, 501(c)(4) social welfare organizations, fiscally sponsored projects, government agencies, schools, and universities. Set your org type in your profile and the AI will tailor its research accordingly.
Grant Lens uses Claude, Anthropic's AI model, to generate funder research briefs and grant discovery results. AI output is a strong starting point — it can surface relevant funders, suggest angles, and draft strategy — but it is not a substitute for verifying information directly with funders. Always confirm deadlines, award amounts, and eligibility requirements on the funder's official website before applying.
Your Org Profile tells Grant Lens who you are — your organization name, mission, location, focus areas, and org type. Every AI feature uses this context, so research briefs and grant discoveries are specific to your mission instead of generic. Click the ⚙ Profile button in the header to set it up or update it.
Grant Buddy is the AI assistant built into Grant Lens — the ◎ Ask button in the bottom-right corner of the tracker. Ask it anything: grant writing advice, how to approach a specific funder, what to include in a letter of intent, how to use a feature. It knows your org profile and remembers the conversation as you go.
Not yet through the UI, but if you have a JSON file from a previous Export, you can email it to hello@grant-lens.com and we'll help you get it loaded. Bulk import is on our roadmap.
Grant Lens is optimized for desktop use — it works best on a laptop or desktop browser. A mobile-optimized version is on our roadmap. In the meantime, it is usable on a tablet in landscape orientation.
